Whether you are in e-commerce or just want people to regularly read your web site, it makes sense to make it accessible to as many people as possible. There are nearly 7 million people of working age in the UK who have a disability (1). That's more than 1 in ten. And it doesn't include those who are "internet disabled" when they browse on a mobile phone with only a tiny keypad or in their lunchhour with no javascript allowed through the corporate firewall.
Accessibilty is about delivering your message and services no matter what people are using to get to your web site.
How do I find out?
Free online tools like Cynthia Says pick up issues with the code but miss many real problems for humans. Full blown testing needs a range of testers with a variety of disabilities and access to all the devices they might use. For some large scale projects that is the only option but for most web sites an expert testing review is the cost effective and timely solution.
Fixed price accessibility audit
We test your web site against the WCAG guidelines and latest RNIB recommendations. Your report will summarise the accessibility rating of your web site and includes a prioritised plan of action for improvement.
For each issue we explain who it hinders and the benefits of making changes. We include recommendations for your developers so they can make changes now and use the knowledge in future projects.
Our fixed price accessibility audit covers up to five pages of your web site for only £250. Don't worry if you have more than five pages. Most web sites use templates so reviewing and fixing one page fixes many. If you have a large or complex web site then please ask us to quote.
We ask for a £100 deposit before we get to work. Your payment will be made to PayPal who accept all major credit cards and debit cards. We will invoice you for the balance when the report is ready. Eaudomainia are not registered for VAT. Our fixed price accessibilty audits are only available to UK businesses and residents.
